Glenfarclas Distillery
Glenfarclas are considered the epitome of the Speyside sherry cask whisky. Glenfarclas are considered to be purveyors of the finest sherry casks, the finest value whiskies and indeed some of the most historic whisky releases to have ever happened: Glenfarclas 105, Family Cask Range and their 25YO+ range. Being a still family operated business, Glenfarclas can choose to release and promote whiskies that mean a lot to them personally, as well as their huge customer base from across the globe. Not being shy of releasing older stocks, in 2020 they released the Pagoda Ruby Series of a 62YO & 63YO single malts.
Douglas Laing
Douglas Laing is one of very few whisky companies in Scotland that is still family-run; it was founded by Fred Douglas Laing in 1948 and is now under the leadership of Fred Laing and his daughter Cara. It is under this leadership that the company has moved towards bottling single malts in the UK rather than exporting elsewhere. Today, Douglas Laing has bottled whiskies from the likes of Brora, Ardbeg, and Port Ellen.
